OVERVIEW:
The NES Max is a redesigned controller for the NES manufactured by Nintendo in 1988. It features textured grips and instead of a standard directional pad, it features a directional input called a Cycloid, which slides in all directions. The Start and Select buttons are smaller and made of plastic instead of rubber. The two A and B buttons are smaller than the original, and because of the two grips, it is said to be much easier to hold. One of its main features are the Turbo A and B buttons, which help in games involving button mashing and repetitively pressing A button, similar to the NES Advantage (except there is no speed adjustment). The controller also resembles that of modern controllers such as the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and Classic Controller Pro because of its grips.
