I got what appears to be a brand new Smart Thermostat even though I ordered one that was listed as refurbished.

Quick shipping and the product is apparently brand new 

I was expecting a refurbished unit but the ecobee I received was new and unopened. Ecobee support verified the unit had never been registered.
Ecobee support was outstanding. They took the time to help me figure out my HVAC wiring to resolve an issue with the common wire. 5 STARS to Rick at ecobee tech support.
I installed this ecobee in my Florida condo so i could monitor my HVAC from my home in upstate New York. I also have one in NY to monitor my home heating when I am in FL. Love the scheduling and occupancy features. The additional sensor is very nice too. I highly recommend this ecobee thermostat.
